Old School Magic and The Ancestral Alchemy Kit
We're kicking off what we hope to be a massive moment for Sorcery—with your help.
Today, we posted an old school Magic: The Gathering gameplay video with Sorcery creator Erik Olofsson. He has the most amazing old school Magic collection in the world, and we actually used those cards while filming games. We're talking Black Lotus, Moxes, Time Walk, Timetwister, Ancestral Recall, and other legendary fixtures of Magic's early history, all getting shuffled up and played right onto the table.
In tandem, we've launched the Ancestral Alchemy Kit, an unbelievable new player bundle that includes a Beta precon, Gothic precon, and Mirror Realm two-player playmat (available for the first time after the Kickstarter, with the Alpha logo removed). It's $100 for the whole kit, and we're discounting all shipping charges, domestic and international, by $20. That means it ships for free in the continental US and is heavily discounted elsewhere.

WAIT! If you are in the EU or UK, we want you to know that we have warehouses and staff fully setup and ready to go for domestic shipping in both regions and are just waiting for the approval of our VAT applications. Once that happens, the Ancestral Alchemy Kit will be shipping for free in both the EU and UK, and we've specifically reserved stock for both regions. You're welcome to place an order now and have it shipped from the US, but these and other products will be available domestically by the end of the year based on current estimates.
There are millions of players out there who loved what Magic used to be, and many of them haven't played for decades. Sorcery is the game that will bring them back, and all it takes is a single click. As soon as Liz Danforth's iconic Mirror Realm hits the table, that unbridled joy of escaping, again, into a boundless fantasy world of evocative battles and epic storytelling comes flooding back. People need to know that it's still here, and that there's a massive community ready to welcome them with open arms.
We hope you'll check out the video and kit and share both with anyone burnt out on the relentless, corporatized profiteering that passes for mainline TCGs these days. If you have any questions, head to our Discord and I'll be happy to help.
