Valley Expansions have arrived
Spire in Bloom kicks off a delightful series of products known as Valley Expansions, which expand the Valley by adding locations and paths to explore, people to meet, missions to accomplish, and rewards to unlock. Notably, each Valley Expansion also includes a new campaign guide and map, which create a “mini-campaign” that can be played before, during, or after the main story.
With this expansion we zoom in on the village of Spire, enhancing what was originally a single location on the Valley map into multiple locations via the Expanded Valley map. You wander in and out of these districts, engaging with all sorts of new adventures and personalities as you learn more about this critical junction in the Valley.
Spire in Bloom introduces a new terrain type, Thoroughfare, which fills the table with unique challenges springing from the more urban environment—imagine the rustling of lutrinals and wolfhunds giving way to the hustle and bustle of villagers and peddlers! On top of that, you'll find new path cards for the Lone Tree Station, Valley, and General sets. Essentially, the open world of Earthborne just gets...more open, more replayable, more expansive.
To make things even better, the new Moments in the Valley pack is also available today! This pack of cards is a complement to the four Valley Expansions, and can only be used alongside them. Moments in the Valley is like the previously-released Moments on the Path, but tailored explicitly for the Valley Expansions.
Ultimately, the Earthborne team has created a thrilling way for players to engage with the story between each major release, while adding additional texture and freedom to each of our campaigns. As always, you can take advantage of our subscription service to automatically receive new Valley Expansions when they release—either by opting in after buying Spire in Bloom, or at any time within the Account section of our website. Alternatively, you can just buy them ala carte as they release.
